Vacation 2009

Tomie and I went to the big island in Hawaii and enjoyed a weeks' vacation in the sand and at the Hilton Waikoloa Village.

Tomie always wanted to swim with the dolphins and wasn't left disappointed as she got her chance. It was a lot of fun!

Tomie Publishes her Book

After a year of writing and a trip to the publisher, Tomie completed her book on her Birthday June 5th.

We met as a family and had a great Birthday celebration for her.

The two of us (Tomie and Craig) are off to Hawaii on June 2oth for a week on the Big island. (That is 7 times Jes, not counting the 3-4 airport in transit stops on my way to Asia) :) Dad

OK, not only do we scuba dive, but the boys can come together to do a mean, professional landscape job as well. I wont go into details, Tyson and Ammon joined forces to plant citrus trees, soon to be beautiful and colorful plants and a lawn and sprinkler system just dying for the little pitter patters to go running on their green blades.

Halloween 2008, A glimpse of the future

Each year we participate in the Ward Fall Festival, which is a costume dress up dinner party. Last year we were a Renassaince theme. There was no question this year as to our theme as we became grandparens of two beautiful girls in 2008.... So Grandma and Grandpa it was to be. Can anyone remember seeing your Dad or Grandpa in like glass frames or Mom/Grandma in her robe and curlers.

50th Bday with Tomie

We went to Park City to see the fall colors, took a trip down Empire Canyon , Brighton, Solitude. We ate at some really cool restaurants, took in a LeAnn Rimes concert. Did a little shopping. We saw Sister Brown (Cousin Cindy) And then went to conference. It was SOOOOOOO MUCH FUN!

Trip to Malaysia and China

I spent 9 days away in Malaysia and China where I had a 3 day meeting and Charity event at a school for the handicap. We painted it and then had a fruit fest, eating all sorts of the local fruits.
In China I visited the new wafer fab being built there and was able to see the Great Wall of China on the weekend. What a fascinating structure that is.
