Close to Heaven

Since age, 15, I have held that Maui is as close to heaven as one will get in this world. Tomie seems to have come to the same conclusion. With the beautiful blue hues of the ocean water, the coconut palms blowing, the stunning road to hana and Tomie clenching my fist as we snorkel in Kapalua Bay. This is it!

Another Fun Halloween

32 Years Later

This past week I was in Japan and able to go back to the area where I first served as a missionary in 1977. It is in western Nagoya. We lived 4 Elders to a 600 sq ft apartment where we slept and ate in the same area. That apartment is still around.... See photo below

Vacation 2009

Tomie and I went to the big island in Hawaii and enjoyed a weeks' vacation in the sand and at the Hilton Waikoloa Village.

Tomie always wanted to swim with the dolphins and wasn't left disappointed as she got her chance. It was a lot of fun!

Tomie Publishes her Book

After a year of writing and a trip to the publisher, Tomie completed her book on her Birthday June 5th.

We met as a family and had a great Birthday celebration for her.

The two of us (Tomie and Craig) are off to Hawaii on June 2oth for a week on the Big island. (That is 7 times Jes, not counting the 3-4 airport in transit stops on my way to Asia) :) Dad
